Applications are invited from Sri Lankan citizens to fill the vacancies in the Homeopathy Medical Council under the purview of Ministry of Indigenous Medicine.

 

 

 

1) Title of Post :-Registrar

 

Vacancy

Nature of Appointment This position is permanent and entitled to Employees' Provident Fund and Employees' Trust Fund.

 

Salary Scale Rs. 25640 monthly 3x665 - 7x735 - 15x925 • 46,655/ - .

Qualifications

The first Degree obtained from a University recognized by the lIniversity Grants Commission

and

 

Three years experience in a relevant field after obtaining the first Degree.

 

Age : Should be not less than 25 years or over 50 years as at 31.08.2012.

 

 

2) Title of Post:- Management Assistant

 

Vacancies

Nature of Appointment This position is permanent and entitled to Employees' Provident Fund and Employees' ftust Fund.

 

Salary Scale Rs. 13450/ = (monthly) 10x145 - 7x170 - 4x240 - 20x320 23450/ -

Qualifications (For External Candidates)

a) Should have passed General Certificate of Education (O/L) in six subjects in one sitting with 4 Credit passes including Sinhala/Tamil Language, Maths and English Language.

 

Should have passed General Certificate of Education (A/1.) in minimum 3 subjects (excluding Common General Test).

 

Should have basic knowledge in Computer 'Word' Processing

 

 

(For Internal Candidates) a) The employees with qualifications in primary grade / non technical and semi technical service cadre in the following b. c & d could apply for this posts.

 

b) Should have passed General Certificate of Education in not more than two sittings in 6 subjects at least with 3 credit passes including Shillala / Tamil, Maths and English Language.

(Having successfully completed a course recognized by Tertiary and Professional Education Commission in Computer 'Word' Processing / Typewriting or other skills in equal level would be considered as added qualifications).

c) The candidates should be in the permanent cadre and should have been confirmed in the appointment.

 

d) Should have completed a 5 years uninterrupted satisfactory service in a permanent post prior to the due date.

 

 

Age Should be not less ihan 18 years and not more than 45 years as at 31.08.2012. The maximum age limit has no relevance to the internal candidates.
